Bathroom remodeling can be both challenging and rewarding, especially when working with large ceramic tiles. Recently, we completed a beautiful master shower remodel using 80 x 50 ceramic tiles. This project presented unique challenges, but the result was worth every effort. In this article, I’ll share my experience and some tips for your next bathroom remodeling project.

In this bathroom remodeling project, the master shower floor was designed with pebbles in brown, yellow, and reddish tones, adding a natural and earthy feel. To complement this, we added a small window to the shower. While it initially looked like a cozy cave, the sunlight streaming through the window made the space feel more open and inviting.

Finding the right materials for this bathroom remodeling project was a challenge. The large ceramic tiles we needed were discontinued, so we had to track down leftover stock from various suppliers. This persistence paid off, allowing us to complete the project without compromising on quality or design.
A Fun Twist
A funny thing happened during this project. The clients and I bonded over our shared interests, and we ended up becoming friends. Now, we occasionally get together for drinks or go for a ride on my boat. It’s moments like these that make bathroom remodeling not just a job, but a rewarding experience that builds lasting relationships.
